The All Progressives Congress in Akoko South West local government has suspended the member representing Akoko South East/Akoko South West Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Ade Adeogun; the member representing Akoko South West Constituency 1 at the state Assembly, Gbenga Omole and many others.
The suspension was conveyed in a letter signed by the Chairman of the party in the local government, Sehinde Mise addressed dated 29th of April, 2023 to the Chairman of the party in Ondo state, Ade Adetimehin.
The letter fully read:

RE: NOTICE OF SUSPENSION OF SOME LEADERS/MEMBERS OF APC IN AKOKO SOUTH WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ONDO STATE FOR GROSS ANTI-PARTY ACTIVITIES BEFORE AND DURING THE LAST 2023 GENERAL ELECTION PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 21 (B) (VI) (b), (D) (1) (F) OF THE APC CONSTITUTION 2014 AS AMENDED
The above subject matter refers.
In consequence to the complaint letters from the affected wards in Akoko South West Local Government, dated 15th March 2023 and another letter dated 15th day of April 2023 received by the APC Local Government Executive Committee, Akoko South West LGA,
Ondo State, independent facts finding committee was constituted to investigate the members involved in the allegations contrary to Article 9.2 (1) and (111) of the Party Constitution.
As part of the recommendations of the committee mentioned above, the following persons were found culpable of the allegations levelled against them jointly and severally:
