The Niger Delta Youth Parliament (NDYP), have hailed and sent sincere appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR for the nomination and subsequent appointment of Hon. The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ifon Daniel, further congratulated Tunji-Ojo on his nomination and Successful screening as Minister Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He Described Tunji-Ojo as a rare gift to the region, personality with unbeatable integrity and capacity, pointing to his achievements and performance as the Chairman, House Committee on the Niger Delta Development Commission NDDC at the 9th National Assembly.
He further alluded that the lawmaker has set exceptional and remarkable, new pace and redefined Legislative Representation in recent times, describing him further as a dassionate, detribalized and an outstanding legislator with focus geared towards repositioning Nigeria and expressed faith in him to deliver on any given assignment.
The Speaker added that Tunji-Ojo’s Nomination as Minister Designate is a Clear Testimonial of His significant contributions in Governance, Landmark Legislative achievements in the areas of infrastructure development, effective Representation on the floor of the Parliament, women and youth empowerment, Bursary and Scholarship and many more expressing confident that he deliver on this new assignment.
NDYP also applauded the President for the appointment of other young and productive Son’s and Daughters from the Niger Delta Region as Ministers Designate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Niger Delta Youths are extremely Confident that they will all deliver on their respective assignment after confirmation by the Senate and the youth community will feel the positive impact of the Renewed Hope agenda,” he stated.
