The President and General Overseer of United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) worldwide, Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi visited the Deji of Akure Kingdom, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi Cfr Odundun II, in his Palace in Akure and declared the 2023 edition of the UACC Convention open.
In a press statement signed by the Pastor Paul I. Erakhifu, the UACC Media Director. Rev. Owoyemi thanked the Deji of Akure for receiving him and UACC trustees in his Palace. He said it’s necessary to visit his Imperial Majesty and officially inform and invite him to the UACC 58th Annual Convention in Akure, Ondo State.
In addition, Rev. Owoyemi prayed for the Deji of Akure and asked for God’s guardian and protection on the Oba and his subject. He prayed that throughout the reign of the Deji of Akure, he would not experience mayhem. His kingdom will keep experiencing peace and harmony.
In his response, the elated Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, appreciated the UACC General Overseer and all those that accompanied him on the visit to his palace. The Oba urged Christians to keep preaching the truth and pray for peace and harmony in Nigeria.
