A group within the ruling All Progressives Congress in Ondo state has warned citizens to be vigilant as “some political Jobbers” are out to Incite violence in the state.
This was revealed in a statement signed and released by the leader of the group, Ojo Bright.

*ONDO STATE UNDER AKEREDOLU CONTINUES TO MAKE A GIANT STRIDE IN SECURITY: A NEED TO KEEP SOBBER VIGILANCE FROM POLITICAL JOBBERS; APC INTEGRITY GROUP WARNS*
*_The utterly fallacious idea that by inciting crises, the mongers of violence can project themselves for public sympathy, which is only in the imagination of a fallen valiant is repugnant of reasoning. It has come to the notice of APC Ondo State Integrity group, the attempt to cause mayhem by some political actors in order to raise concerns for cheap political gains.
The APC commends the Nigeria police force, Ondo State command for its prompt intervention and excellent intelligence gathering efforts. It is important to appreciate the cordial relationship with other sister security agencies as well. The indigenous security outfit, AMOTEKUN midwife by the people’s governor of Ondo State, we are aware has also placed his men on high security alert.
We wish to, as a formidable caucus of the APC, reiterate the ruling party’s commitment to the security of lives and properties while warning political jobbers to have a second thought, no matter how highly placed.
Ondo State, as the most peaceful state in the Niger-Delta, will continue to remain so irrespective of the machinations of the enemy of the people aimed at sponsoring violence, targeted criminal activities and needless provocative actions.
Anyone making his/herself available for such should ask if these political actors have yet called their children to the same task.
We implore the good people of Ondo State to remain vigilant in the face of blatant provocation from those desperate for power by all means. The people of Ondo State have elected a democratic governor whose tenure elapses February 2025. The people continue to maintain such confidence in the “TALK AND DO, people’s Governor of Ondo State.
Ondo State, under the astute leadership of Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON, will continue to put the people of Ondo State first.
It is no news, “Oruko Eni ma roni lara”. We are convinced that this year will be “ODUN-AYO” for the good people of the Sunshine State.
Consequently, we wish the good people of Ondo bliss as we continue to prepare for yuletide. While warning all those ready to make themselves useful instruments for destabilization as a result of financial inducement and vague promises to be weary of a drowning man making such promises. He only seeks every means available to float. While ultimately seeking more casualty. To what extent can one claim to love a state yet continue to orchestrated evil and seek to put the state in jeopardy.
In conclusion, we stand resolute with the people’s governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN CON on his continuous efforts to promote peace. The good people of Ondo State and all APC party faithfuls are appreciated for their doggedness to keep the virtues of our loving State.
