The media team of Prof. Ibrahim Ajagunna (PIA), gubernatorial aspirant under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has resumed its major activities following a brief suspension to mourn the demise of the former Governor, His Excellency, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON.
Prof. Ibrahim Ajagunna, a dedicated patriot and ardent advocate for a better Ondo State, once again expresses gratitude for the late Governor Odunayo Akeredolu’s service to Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole. Ajagunna fondly remembers their working relationship, especially those that led to the approval of the Deep Seaport Development in Ondo State and the commencement of Maritime Studies in Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH).
As a Professor of Sustainable Development and Maritime Expert, PIA acknowledges the groundwork laid by the late Akeredolu for rapid development in Ondo State. He emphasizes the need for a visionary leader with requisite knowledge and skills to build upon these initiatives for the prosperity of the State. Prof. Ibrahim Ajagunna remains optimistic about being entrusted with the opportunity to positively turn around the fortunes of Ondo State and its people.
He extends heartfelt congratulations to the new Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, urging unity and expressing hope that the transition to the new government will bring great perspectives, resilience, and a commitment to the well-being of the people of Ondo State.
