The President and General Overseer of United Apostolic Church of Christ, (UACC), Rev. Dr. James Bayo Owoyemi has described the 7th Anniversary of Citadel of Praise, Manchester, United Kingdom as a success and commendable.
The elated UACC President, Rev. Dr. Owoyemi commended the organizers of the anniversary for their effort in putting together such a memorable event.
In a statement signed by UACC Media Director, Pastor Paul Erakhifu.
Rev. Dr. Owoyemi, who preached during the thanksgiving service on the topic; ’’God, who is working perfectly’’ said ‘our God is a perfect God and gives his children perfect gifts that would last forever without any sorrow and stress.’ He quoted Deuteronomy Chapter 32 verse 4 and explained that God is our shield and rock, His work and ways are perfect. He is truthful and his judgement is right and just.
UACC President, Rev. Dr. Owoyemi used the occasion to pray for Nigeria and asked for God’s intervention in the affairs of the nation. ’’I pray that God should intervene in the affairs of Nigeria and we pray for harmony, peace and unity for the nation.’’
He further urged Nigerians to be connected to God and continue to worship and serve God. Nigerians should believe in Nigeria; they should do all they could to make the nation proud anywhere they find themselves.
The Pastor in charge of UACC Citadel of Praise and UACC Director of International Affairs, Pastor Mrs. Adesomi Adeola (JP) thanked God for the successful completion of the 7th Anniversary of UACC Citadel of Praise.
She said ‘’God has been faithful to us; we have many testimonies but time will not permit us to share all that happened during the anniversary. There is love and unity amongst the brethren, and we are privileged to have the UACC President and his wife with us. She appreciated and thanked all the ministers that came to the anniversary.
Pastor Mrs. Adeola stressed further that during the 7th anniversary with the theme God of perfection, Evangelist, Elder, Deacons and Deaconesses were ordained and appointed into various offices to assist for and spread and Propagation of the gospel.
On behalf of the church, Pastor Mrs. Esther Odubiyi, who is the assistant pastor of UACC Citadel of Praise, thanked God for the success of the anniversary, she appreciated the UACC president, his wife and guest ministers that attended the event.
Pastor Victor Ayandeji glorified the name of the Lord for making the anniversary a blessing and memorable for all those that attended. He remarked “we were greatly blessed through the ministrations of these great men and women of God as people keyed into all prophetic declarations from the combined anointing which we believe in Almighty God.
He also commended the Blessed Youth Organisation members in diaspora for their support.
