The Oyemekun LCDA transition committee,Vice Chairman Hon.Adeleye Damilare maintains a strong focus on promoting youthful engagement culture in Oyemekun LCDA communities and ondo state at large to mark his birthday celebration, acknowledging God’s mercy and expressing gratitude for the support from Oyemekun LCDA leaders also commend the concluded OYEMEKUNLCDA free summer lesson under leadership of Hon.Ifedayo Ologunmeta
He realized that the SkillAYouth initiative was born out of passion and a desire to give back to the community while speaking at the flag-off ceremony. Adeleye noted that skills empowerment programs have become our collective responsibility to give back to society and improve people’s lives. Any Nigerian youth lacking proper profitable skills will find it difficult to survive maximally. That is why he decided to bring on the initiative of training more youths in Ondo State, particularly at the grassroots level.
Hon. Adeleye further that the program supports governor Ayiedatiwa administration’s efforts to encourage tech, technical, and vocational training for self-reliance, emphasizing that empowerment programs provide beneficiaries with greater opportunities for financial freedom.
More than 50 youths across Ondo State registered to attend the training and empowerment programs on drone flying and Tryolean skills, grouped into classes for the training program.
Mr. Ilesanmi Ade-Ademola, an experienced skills instructor at SkillAYouthsNigeria, addressed the trainees, expressing his encouragement to train more skilled Ondo State youths due to the high turnout. He highlighted that the program offers free, flexible training to facilitate learning.
He emphasized that the program is free, structured for flexibility, and designed to allow trainees to learn adequately through the dates.
He charged the trainees to maintain their focus on the positive aspects of these programs, as the benefits cannot be underestimated, including improved employability, entrepreneurship opportunities for youths, and economic growth and development in Oyemekun LCDA. He noted that cooperation and concentration are crucial to the training success.
He also pointed out that cooperation and concentration among trainees are vital to appreciating the facilitator and that skills like drone operation and tryolean would help bridge the poverty gap.
Adeleye’s remark encouraged the trainees to support Governor Ayiedatiawa’s re-election, guaranteeing more benefits, as the governor would continue to develop and empower Ondo State youths with profitable skills as the governorship election approaches.
