A renowned leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state, Monday Eleduma has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory in the Ondo state 2024 Guber poll on Saturday.
Aiyedatiwa according to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) scored 366,781 votes to defeat his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the People Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 117,845 votes.
The incumbent Governor and the candidate of the APC cleared all the 18 local government areas in the state to emerge winner.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his well-deserved victory in the Ondo governorship election. The overwhelming support from the majority of Ondo people and his impressive win across all 3 senatorial and 18 local government areas is a testament to his exceptional leadership.
“Kudos to the people of Ondo State for a peaceful election, free from violence, and for entrusting Governor Aiyedatiwa with another mandate. I also appreciate my hometown, Owo, for their unwavering support.
“This renewed mandate will undoubtedly bring more development to Owo and Ondo State as a whole. Congratulations also to Deputy Governor-elect, Dr. Olayide Adelami.
