A renowned leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akoko area of Ondo State and the Eledumo of Akunu land, High Chief Balogun Abiodun has congratulated the Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory in the Ondo state 2024 Guber poll on Saturday.
Aiyedatiwa according to the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) scored 366,781 votes to defeat his closest rival, Agboola Ajayi of the People Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 117,845 votes.
High Chief Balogun, popularly known as Lubay, a former Deputy Chief of Protocol to Ondo State Government commended the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a credible election in the state.
“Your leadership and dedication to the people of Ondo State are truly inspiring. As a seasoned politician and statesman, your commitment to the development of our great state is unparalleled.
“Let me also commend INEC for conducting a free, fair and credible election in the state. This will further strengthen our democracy and give our people reasons to believe in the country again.”
The incumbent Governor and the candidate of the APC cleared all the 18 local government areas in the state to emerge winner.
Chief Balogun, who is also the Chairman of Statutory leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akoko North East local government area continued:
