As Ikare Kingdom marks the 40th Coronation Anniversary of Oba Alhaji Akadri Saliu Momoh IV, JP, CON, Professor Ibrahim Ajagunna, Deputy President of the Caribbean Maritime University, Jamaica, has joined well-wishers in celebrating the monarch’s remarkable legacy.
Reflecting on four decades of the monarch’s reign, Professor Ajagunna, also a prince of the kingdom, highlighted the transformation and progress the Kingdom has experienced under his leadership.
“Kabiyesi’s reign has brought Ikare into a new era of greatness, overcoming challenges and fostering unity, peace, and development,” he said, praising the monarch’s dedication to his people.
The anniversary, described as a historic milestone, draws attention to the lasting impact of Oba Akadri Saliu’s leadership on the lives of Ikare sons and daughters at home and abroad. Professor Ajagunna expressed his admiration, noting that Kabiyesi’s reign has become a symbol of hope and inspiration.
Extending his congratulations on behalf of his family, Professor Ajagunna prayed for continued blessings on the monarch. “May your reign remain a source of growth for Ikare, and may you be blessed with good health and many more years of impactful service to humanity,” he stated.
