Hon. Monday Eleduma has called for calm and prayer for peace in Owo, following the gruesome murder of Mr. Fisayo Oladipo, the former youth leader of Owo Local Government APC, and Mr. Rafiu, a senior stakeholder in the party. He expressed shock and sadness over the loss of lives in the crisis that rocked the town on January 6, 2025.
Hon. Eleduma commiserated with the families of the deceased, praying that God grants them the strength to bear the irreparable loss and that the souls of the departed rest in eternal peace.
He urged the people of Owo to remain calm, law-abiding, and peaceful, emphasizing that the ancient town needs development and investment, not violent riots that hinder growth.
As the community navigates this difficult time, Hon. Eleduma encouraged everyone to seek divine guidance and intervention, praying for peace to be restored in Owo.
Signed,
Hon. Monday Eleduma
