The Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is achieving tremendous success especially in the ministry of Interior because of the kind of leadership in place in that ministry, a youth advocate, Abiola Mayowa has noted.
Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo, who he described as “the star boy of The renewed Hope Agenda” has since his appointment as the minister of Interior has transformed that ministry from a ministry of public holiday to a ministry that is living up to it’s expectation, according to him.
In a statement, Abiola described Tunji-Ojo as a round peg in a round hole.
The statement read, “All the parastatals under the ministry of Interior now functions like a 21st century government agency. Getting the Nigerian passport is no longer a hassle, our correctional centres are no longer what they used to be, the Fire service sis gradually coming to life and the ministry is something the president himself is proud of. Small wonder almost all the major media houses in Nigeria voted Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo as the best performing minister in the outgone year.
“His performance as a loyal party man is unrivaled. He has continued to show his desire that his party, the All Progressive Congress APC continue to grow. In Ondo state, BTO has always supported the cause of the party and is an ardent supporter of the Aiyedatiwa Led Government in the state. This was evident in how he mobilized his personal resources to endure the victory of governor Aiyedatiwa in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Ondo state.
“He also showed his love and loyalty for the party in tye just concluded local government election in the state, where he once again ensured that all the party’s candidates emerged for the chairmanship and councillorship positions not just in his local government of Akoko North West Local Government , but across all local governments and wards in Ondo North senatorial district
Beyond politics, Hon. Bunmi Tunji Ojo has touched the lives of numerous people.
“Being a young man himself, he has always projected the cause of the youths. He has facilitated employment gor countless number of youths, he has assisted some others who wanted to travel outside the country in search of higher education, he has given means of livelihood to so many others, he has paid for the treatment of the sick, and so many other uncountable good deeds from the Hon. Minister.
“As a concerned citizen of Ondo state, I can only pray for The star boy to continue to enjoy good health and the grace of God to continue to represent us well at the federal Executive council and to continue to positively touch the lives of people. I have said it countless times and I want to reiterate and emphasize that I am for BTO and I will stand with BTO whenever and where ever he goes.”
