A prominent community leader in Akure, the Odofin of Akure land, Basorun Adinlewa Akin has applauded the appointment of Taiwo Fasoranti as the new Secretary to the State Government in Ondo state.
Fasoranti, who was appointed few hours after the inauguration of Lucky Aiyedatiwa as the Governor of the state for the next four years. He replaces his kinsman, the late Tayo Oluwatuyi who died after an autocrash in December, 2024.
In a congratulatory message, Basorun Akin described the appointment of Fasoranti as a right decision at a right time.
“At this time in our state, we need the administrative expertise of Fasoranti to drive the state forward. He has proven himself when trusted with responsibilities in the past.
“I congratulate him on this new challenge and I trust him to deliver appropriately. I also appreciate our Governor, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa for this opportunity. He has started well and we pray he ends it well.”
