Students of Omoluorogbo Grammar School have been trained in new skills through an initiative sponsored by the Vice chairman of Oyemekun LCDA, Oluwadamilare Adeleye.
The initiative, tagged Advancing Education and Skills Development will see the students enrolled with professionals to train them in new skills. Adeleye also donated writing materials to the students.
According to him, “What we have done today is to encourage young persons to embrace marketable skills as the market space becomes more competitive.
“He appreciates the leaders in Oyemekun LCDA for their support for this initiative and our Governor, Honorable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for sustaining the Local Council Development Area in the state. He is a lover of democracy and grassroots development.
“We will engage these students in practical training to ensure they become the drivers and movers of our economy.”
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan commends Adeleye for the initiative and noted that this will impact the students positively.
The Chairman of Oyemekun LCDA, Ifedayo Ologometa stressed that the initiative aligns with the vision of the LCDA. He praised Adeleye and described him as a loyal and effective deputy.
Mrs. Orimaye Ronke, Principal of Omoluorogo Grammar School, praises LCDA’s leadership for providing students with a lifetime chance to learn from experts.
