The youths under the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo state have extended warm congratulations to the newly appointed Commissioner for Youth and Sports in the State, Omoyofunmi Segun Henry.
The youths also commended the Ondo State Government, led by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, in promoting youthful leadership within the State’s administration.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Youth leader of the Party in the state, Comr. Adeyemo Olalekan, the youth applauded the new commissioner’s appointment but also highlights the continuity of the Ondo State Government’s policy of entrusting young leaders with the critical responsibility of overseeing important sectors in the state.
Governor Aiyedatiwa’s commitment to fostering youthful participation in governance has been evident throughout his tenure.
The statement read: “We can not but appreciate our youth-friendly Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa for his continued trust in the younger generation and sustaining his legacy for the Youth Constituency in the State.
“On behalf of APC youths, we congratulate Mr Omoyofunmi, who we believe will lead the ministry to the best of his abilities. Being a former local government youth leader in Irele local government area, he has proven himself beyond reasonable doubt. We are strongly behind him and the Government of Ondo State.”
