The Asiwaju Mandate Group (AMG) has continued its grassroots strengthening drive with the inauguration of Local Government Executive Committees in Ese Odo and Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo Local Government Areas of Ondo State.
The inauguration, which took place on Wednesday, was performed by the Deputy Director General of AMG, Hon. Afolabi Iwalewa, who charged the newly sworn-in officers to be committed ambassadors of the Renewed Hope Agenda and to work vigorously for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
Present at the event was the General Secretary of AMG, Hon. Corporal Nanaopri, Esq., who urged the new executives to carry the message of inclusion and development to every ward, mobilising youths, women, artisans, and professionals without discrimination.
Administering the oath of office was the group’s Legal Director, Barr. Pelemo Ade, who reminded the officers of the trust placed in them and the responsibility to promote unity, discipline, and effective coordination at the grassroots level.
Hon. Iwalewa described the inauguration as a major step in AMG’s mission to consolidate its structure across all 18 LGAs of Ondo State, noting that the group remains fully aligned with the leadership vision of the Minister of Interior and AMG Convener, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
“The future of our political movement depends on strong local structures. These executives are our foot soldiers; they will engage the people, explain government policies, and ensure massive mobilisation for President Tinubu’s second term.” Iwalewa said.
The ceremonies were attended by party leaders, women and youth coordinators, community influencers, and other stakeholders, who pledged their support and readiness to work with AMG in driving inclusive political participation.
