A charity organization, the Gifting Volunteers Network has donated a substantial amount of cash to support a child’s heart surgery in Ondo state.
The generous donation is expected to cover a significant portion of the child’s medical expenses, bringing hope to the family to save the child.
The child, Olajide Iremide Exalted, has been battling a heart condition and requires urgent surgery to correct the defect. The cost of the surgery is substantial, and the family’s efforts to raise funds had been ongoing until the Gifting Volunteers Network stepped in with their generous donation of Five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000).
The donation was presented to the family by the representative of the organization in Ondo state, Olusola Omoboni who noted that the mandate of the organization is to restore smile to the face of the masses.
According to him, “We are thrilled to be able to make a difference in this child’s life.
“Our organization is committed to supporting individuals in need, and we believe that every child deserves a chance to live a healthy life.
“Iremide has multiple holes in his heart and he is expected to undergo surgery in India soon.”
The child’s family expressed their gratitude to the Gifting Volunteers Network for the support.
“We are overwhelmed with joy and gratitude as this donation has restored our hope and we are thankful to the Gifting Volunteers Network for this kind gesture.”
