The Irun Progressive Youths Forum has presented an Award of Excellence to Hon. Fatoba Emmanuel, popularly known as FATKING, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the progress and development of the community and its people. The award, tagged “Special Appreciation,” highlights the genuine impact and dedication of Hon. Fatoba Emmanuel (FATKING) to the welfare of the youths and residents.
In response, Hon. FATKING extended his heartfelt appreciation to the leadership of the Irun Progressive Youths Forum, under the administration of Comrade Seyifumi Adeosun, the Forum’s President. He commended them for recognizing his efforts in supporting the youths and the broader constituency from which he hails.
Hon. FATKING emphasized that giving back to society has always been one of his core duties, even before he relocated from Nigeria. He recounted his past initiatives, including organizing novelty matches among various groups across the constituency and providing empowerment programs for widows in Irun and the wider Constituency II area.
According to him, “The reason for anyone’s existence is to make a positive impact on others, just as Jesus whose birth we are celebrating taught us.”
Hon. Fatoba Emmanuel (FATKING) further expressed gratitude to everyone who has shown kindness and contributed positively to the people. He extended warm wishes to the residents of Akoko North Federal Constituency, using his hometown of Irun Akoko as a point of contact, for a glorious Christmas filled with hope and a prosperous 2026 ahead.
Finally, Hon. FATKING advised the youths to be more proactive in the coming year. He urged them to shun unruly behaviour and avoid becoming tools for disrupting peace in the community, emphasizing the importance of unity and positive contributions for a brighter future.
