A political aspirant, Ogunjobi Odunayo Eniola, has formally declared his intention to contest for a seat in the Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Akoko North West Constituency I.
In a statement addressed to residents of the constituency, Ogunjobi said his decision to run was driven by a strong sense of responsibility and years of active involvement in youth and community development.
He noted that his previous roles as Financial Secretary of the National Association of Ondo State Students (NAOSS) and Chief of Staff to the EYC Chairperson have equipped him with valuable leadership experience and a deeper understanding of grassroots needs.
According to him, the constituency requires effective representation, stronger advocacy, and leadership that remains accessible and committed beyond election periods.
“Our people deserve a voice that does not fade after elections, but one that consistently speaks, stands, and works on their behalf,” he stated.
Ogunjobi also referenced the internal zoning arrangement within the constituency, which he said presents Arigidi/Iye Ward 1 with the opportunity to produce a credible and capable representative.
Describing himself as youthful yet experienced, he pledged to bring a balance of fresh ideas and practical leadership to governance if elected.
He further promised to champion policies and legislation that would positively impact residents, while ensuring effective oversight to attract development to the constituency.
The aspirant called on constituents to support his ambition, expressing optimism about a united effort to advance the interests of Akoko North West Constituency I.
He concluded by urging the people to remain hopeful and committed to collective progress.
