Hon. Adeleye had always been passionate about developing the youths and students in his community with skills. He believed that by equipping them with valuable skills, he could help them build a brighter future.
Hon. Adeleye empowerment campaign tour moved to Aquinas Secondary School Akure with intensive two days technical training in tiling. The purpose is to teach students skills like the art of tiling, a skill that would not only benefit them but also their families and the community at large.
The process created an avenue to empower the students with valuable skills in tiling, while the “SkillTheYouth Nigeria” provided the needed technical support for the students. To train and provide them with materials and tools. It was an excellent moment for students to learn this new skill, which would benefit them and their community.
Under SkillTheYouth guidance, the students were able to learn about different types of tiles, adhesive techniques, and grouting. They practice on small projects, gaining confidence and skill.
As they progressed, the students were arranged to work on group projects, renovating floors in practical form. They equally showed interest to see their work transform, making them safer and more beautiful.
Hon. Adeleye Oluwadamilare , in his words, stressed that this is just a way to give back to the community while the students benefited from their newly acquired skill, and such initiative had created a positive impact. The students promised to continue to work together and transform their community with acquired knowledge.
