The Young Women Leadership Organization (YWLO) paid a visit to St. James CAC Primary School Imo Arigidi Akoko where they distributed writing materials to the students and provided wastebaskets for the school.
The donation, which includes notebooks, pens, pencils, and other essential materials, aims to support over 500 students in the school.
According to the President of the group, Damilola Olanipekun, the gesture is in a bid support quality education in the area.
Damilola said, “We believe education is the cornerstone of empowerment, especially for young persons.
“The addition of wastebaskets also promotes cleanliness and environmental awareness within the school community.
“We urge stakeholders to invest more in education, ensuring every child has access to quality learning.”
The students expressed their gratitude, and the event fostered a sense of responsibility and encouragement among the young learners.
It was a fulfilling day for both the organization and the school, highlighting the importance of community support in education.
