The Royal Fathers in Ondo North Senatorial District applauded the proactive Initiatives by the Office of Senior Special Assistant, SSA On Community Engagement, OSSACE under the watch of ‘Bode Obanla today.
The entourage from the OSSACE Office led by Obanla were received with accolades and showered with encomiums at the various first class traditional rulers palaces visited.
Obanla on Wednesday morning led his Team to the palaces of Olowo of Owo,Olubaka of Okaland, Olukare of Ikare Akoko, Owa-Ale of Ikare Akoko and Owa of Ogbagi Akoko respectively.
At the Palaces, Obanla explained the mission of the OSSACE Team to fully report back with current updates on the first Community Engagement exercise.
Obanla gave detailed accounts of how his Team collated and packaged the data of all Communities’ requests into a compendium delivered to the Apex Advisory Council which the Council finally processed into an implementable document already presented to Gov.Aiyedatiwa.
Obanla told the monarchs of the reassuring words from Gov.Aiyedatiwa that the Ondo North Community Requests are well articulated, timely as he would forward them to various ministries and Agencies who were just about preparing for the 2025 budget.
Saying,”the governor promised that the requests of the people of the Ondo North Communities in the Report will reflect in the 2025 budget”
The SSA,Obanla also used the visit to open discussions on the initiative of OSSACE Office to constitute an Ondo North Diaspora Engagement Committees and requested the monarchs’ support on it.
Telling them that the plans are in high gear to solidify the structure and deepen the relationship between Ondo State Government,ODSG and various diaspora Communities for collaboration and synergy on development.
Oba Ogunoye,the Olowo of Owo commended both Aiyedatiwa and Obanla that their coming is timely resulting to the efforts of the Community Engagement initiative and promised his total support to the OSSACE Office.
Olowo while receiving the final report of the OSSACE Community Engagement promised that Aiyedatiwa would receive bulk votes as the result of his good intentions to develop Ondo State as he’s always getting things right including with Obanla on this Community Engagement Office.
“With establishment and activities of the SSA on Community Engagement, Aiyedatiwa has really created a balance for the grassroots people to own government by having their inputs in governance and I will encourage Owo indigenes in diaspora to collaborate with Obanla’s office” Olowo noted.
The Olubaka of Okaland, Oba Adeleye told Obanla that he has already opened discussions with Oka Indigenes in diaspora saying he described Aiyedatiwa to them as a friendly governor with strong passion and committed to the development of every community.
The Owa-Ale of Ikare-Akoko,Oba Adegbite-Adedoyin in his address to Obanla led Team also applauded Aiyedatiwa and Obanla for the impactful Initiatives to develop the grassroots communities.
Owa-Ale said he had already kickstarted serious discussions with some Ikare Indigenes in diaspora about the urgent need to partner with the government for a collaborative development of the land.
Though Owa-Ale said monarchs are not supposed to be political but for the respect Aiyedatiwa has accorded Ondo State Obas more than any other governor that he earned their total support any day.
And since they also have rights to enlightening their people of the real essence of good governance that for that reason he’s assuring Aiyedatiwa that his people will continue to give him total supports towards his success at the November Poll.
At the Olukare of Ikare Akoko palace, the SSA,Obanla and his Team were also commended for the various efforts already put in place towards the development of the grassroots communities.
The monarch thanked Aiyedatiwa for his unparalleled achievements through various interventions and assured him that the people of Ikare- Akoko will give him bulk votes at the poll.
At the Palace of Owa of Ogbagi-Akoko,Oba Adetona explained how excited he was to learn that the governor has received the reports of the engagement exercise saying he has known Aiyedatiwa for over 30years and that he can beat his chest that he will do all he has promised Akokoland.
Oba Adetona also promised that as the Chairman of the Akoko North West LG. Traditional Council, the Obas will deliver the entire vote of the LG for Aiyedatiwa by 16th November.
He concluded by also assuring Obanla of his support towards the diaspora engagement disclosing that with some notable Akoko Obas and an Akoko diaspora Technocrat , a multi Million Euros Agro-Investment has already been facilitated to Akokoland which is now at advance stage of execution.
The Obanla led OSSACE Team during the visits had other notable media personalities and organizations on their entourage including Hon.Gbamila,SSA On Multi-Media to Gov. Aiyedatiwa and his Coastal Media Crew led by Prince ‘Gwehinmi Omowole as well as the BTO Media Influencers.
