Following the tragic incident that led to the death of a teenage student, Habib Salau, at Akoko Anglican Grammar School, Arigidi, the honorable member representing Akoko Northeast/Northwest Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber, Ife Ehindero has expressed his disappointment and described the event as devastating,
The event which reportedly involved a scuffle between students, has left the Akoko community in shock.
Ehindero, while addressing the situation, stated, “This incident is both heartbreaking and deeply troubling. The safety and well-being of our students must be of utmost priority. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Habib Salau.
“I urge the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure that justice is served, and to prevent such tragedies in the future.”
He further reiterated his commitment to working closely with local authorities and educational stakeholders to ensure a safe learning environment for all students within the constituency.
