In a resounding display of synergy between executive and legislative arms of government, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, Majority Leader of the Ondo State House of Assembly, joined top dignitaries and leaders across the state on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the official commissioning of the newly rehabilitated and asphalted Stadium/Hospital Road in Ondo City. The event marked a major highlight in the activities celebrating the first 100 days of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in office.
Represent the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly Rt Hon Chief Adesanmi Olamide Oladiji , Hon. Ogunmolasuyi described the road project as “a tangible expression of responsive leadership and government’s commitment to accessible healthcare, urban renewal, and grassroots welfare.” He praised the Governor’s dedication to development-oriented governance, noting that the newly completed road would ease mobility, strengthen healthcare delivery, and uplift economic activity in Ondo West.
The Hospital–NCI Road, now fully rehabilitated with smooth asphalt overlay, links major health institutions such as the General Hospital and the Ondo State University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, as well as several residential and commercial communities. The project, long anticipated by residents, has been celebrated as a triumph over years of infrastructural decay. The event, which drew enthusiastic crowds and key stakeholders, was chaired by His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adesimbo Victor Kiladejo, JILO III, the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, ably represented by the Lisa of Ondo Kingdom, High Chief Simeon Oguntimehin. The royal representative conveyed the monarch’s appreciation for the Governor’s developmental strides and urged continued support for the administration. Among the dignitaries present were:

In his remarks, Hon. Ogunmolasuyi emphasized that the House of Assembly remains committed to working hand-in-hand with the executive to ensure the full implementation of the OUR EASE governance agenda, championed by Governor Aiyedatiwa. He assured constituents that the legislature will continue to advocate for projects that touch lives at the grassroots level.
“This project is a symbol of hope restored. It tells our people that their government listens, acts, and delivers,” Ogunmolasuyi stated. “As Majority Leader, I reaffirm my commitment to ensuring that more of such people-oriented initiatives are brought to every part of Ondo State.”
The commissioning ceremony concluded with a joyful celebration and a renewed sense of unity among the people of Ondo Kingdom, who witnessed the dawn of a new era of infrastructure revitalization.
