…as community youths declare protest
The youths in Okeagbe community in Akoko North West local government area of Ondo state have declared a protest against what it described as “insults on our traditional rulers, elders, entire community in a viral video”.
The video which was posted on a Facebook account with the name “ATTANZIL TV” revealed where the Chief Imam, Muhammad Hussain was explaining how some persons allegedly attacked members of his family during a masquerade festival in Oge.
In the video, a popular Islamic cleric in Ondo state, Lagbaji was seen saying the community where Hussain’s family was attacked are filled with unwise people, including the monarch leading them.

However, the youths of the community have chosen Friday, 27th of June 2025 to protest against this act. This was made known in a short notice of protest made available to the media on Wednesday.
