With a heart full of gratitude and joy, I, Comrade Samson Idanesi, founder of the Alukheidanesi Foundation and a proud son of Etsako East, extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa on their well-deserved and resounding victory at the Supreme Court on Thursday, July 10th, 2025.
This landmark judgment is not just a personal triumph for our leaders, but a monumental victory for democracy, justice, and the good people of Edo State. It reaffirms the power of the people’s voice and strengthens the foundation of our democratic values.
This moment marks a new dawn for our dear state—one filled with renewed hope, unity, and purposeful leadership. I am confident that under the capable stewardship of Governor Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, Edo State will witness unprecedented development, peace, and inclusive governance that truly benefits all, especially those at the grassroots.
As a proud grassroots mobilizer from Etsako East, I take great pride in this victory. It restores faith in our democratic system and sends a clear message that hard work, loyalty, and service to the people will always be rewarded.
I also use this opportunity to sincerely appreciate our ever-dedicated leader, Senator Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, and our dynamic APC State Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, for their strategic leadership, unwavering loyalty, and commitment to the growth and stability of our great party. Their tireless efforts behind the scenes played a vital role in securing this victory.
As we celebrate, I call on all well-meaning sons and daughters of Edo State—both at home and in the diaspora—to rally around this administration in the spirit of unity, peace, and progress. Together, we will build the Edo of our dreams.
