Today, I join the good people of Ondo State, and indeed Nigerians at large, to commemorate the posthumous birthday of our beloved leader, former Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, SAN, CON, whose remarkable legacy continues to live on in the hearts of those who cherish good governance, courage, and unwavering service to humanity.
Though he is no longer with us in person, the impact of Governor Akeredolu’s life of integrity, bold leadership, and unflinching dedication to the people of Ondo State remains indelible. He was not just a Governor; he was a beacon of justice, a defender of truth, and a tireless advocate for fairness and the welfare of the people he so dutifully served.
Today serves as a solemn reminder of his towering contributions to the growth, development, and security of our dear state. From championing infrastructural renewal to his bold stand on national discourse through Amotekun and regional security, Governor Akeredolu left behind a template of courage and conviction that will continue to inspire generations to come.
On this special occasion, I extend my heartfelt wishes and prayers to his beloved family. May God continue to grant them strength, comfort, and the fortitude to carry on his noble legacy with pride and honour.
As we remember him today, let us all uphold the values he cherished: truth, justice, and the relentless pursuit of a better Ondo State.
