The people of Ondo State turned out in their numbers to give Governor Ayedatiwa a rousing welcome as he arrived at the airport. From there, the joyous crowd moved in a massive procession straight to Democracy Park, where the atmosphere was filled with excitement, chants, and solidarity.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor took a moment to acknowledge the invaluable role played by Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, whose wisdom and guidance have continued to shape the state’s democratic journey. He also paid glowing tribute to Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN, the Attorney General of the state, commending his steadfastness and dedication to the rule of law.
In a solemn moment, the Governor extended his heartfelt sympathy to the family of the late SDP Governorship candidate, Otunba Olayide Akingboye, describing him as a true son of Ondo who contributed his part to the political landscape of the state.
