Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Ogunmolasuyi, representing Owo Constituency 1 in the Ondo State House of Assembly, has commended Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his recent approval of large-scale road construction and rehabilitation projects across Ondo State. He described the move as a bold and visionary step that demonstrates genuine leadership and a deep commitment to the welfare of the people. Ogunmolasuyi expressed delight at the Governor’s unwavering dedication to infrastructural renewal and his clear understanding of the critical role of road networks in the socio-economic advancement of the state.
According to him, the new road projects will not only transform the physical appearance of Ondo State but also strengthen its economic base by improving trade, transportation, and accessibility across communities.
He stated that quality roads are the arteries of development, facilitating business growth, agricultural productivity, and access to healthcare and education. “Governor Aiyedatiwa’s approval of these massive road projects is a clear testament to purposeful governance,” he said. “By prioritising infrastructure, he is empowering our people, connecting our communities, and laying a firm foundation for sustainable development.”
Ogunmolasuyi further emphasised that the initiative would particularly benefit the people of Owo and neighbouring areas who have, for years, endured the challenges posed by poor road conditions. He noted that the Governor’s inclusive approach, ensuring that all parts of the state benefit equally, reflects fairness, balance, and a deep understanding of leadership as service to all.
