The Ogbagi Youth Assembly (OYA) has expressed profound appreciation to Hon. Nelson Aremo for facilitating 30 employment opportunities for graduates from Ogbagi community in reputable banks across Nigeria.
In a letter dated February 24, 2026, and signed by its President, MSA Aderemi Oluwatuyi, and Secretary, Idowu Matthew Nifemi, the youth body described the gesture as timely, impactful, and a significant boost to youth empowerment in Ogbagi-Akoko and the wider Akoko region of Ondo State.
According to the assembly, the intervention has provided gainful employment to several promising sons and daughters of Ogbagi at a time when youth unemployment remains a major concern in the country. The group noted that the development has not only brought financial stability to the beneficiaries and their families but has also rekindled hope among many young people in the community.
“This noble gesture has extended its positive impact beyond Ogbagi to other youths across the Akoko region. It reflects true leadership, selfless service, and a genuine commitment to youth empowerment,” the statement read.
The assembly further described Hon. Aremo as a worthy ambassador of Ogbagi whose actions exemplify compassionate and people-oriented leadership. They added that his efforts have inspired confidence in collective progress and mentorship within the community.
The beneficiaries and members of the youth body expressed optimism that the intervention would open more doors of opportunity in the future and encourage other well-meaning individuals to invest in youth development.
