The All Progressives Congress has debunked reports circulating in parts of the media claiming to outline the cost of its expression of interest and nomination forms for the 2027 general elections.
A viral graphic, which gained traction on Friday, alleged that presidential aspirants under the party would be required to pay N200 million for nomination forms, while candidates seeking seats in state houses of assembly would pay N20 million.
Reacting to the development, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, clarified in a statement on Saturday that the information did not originate from the party and should be disregarded.
According to him, the APC has not released any official communication regarding the pricing or sale of nomination forms for the 2027 elections, stressing that the circulating report is entirely false and misleading.
He further emphasized that no decision has been reached on the matter, urging the public and party members to rely only on verified information from official party channels.
