The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ondo State House of Assembly, Akoko North West Constituency II, Lateef Jakande Victor, has expressed profound gratitude to the leadership and members of the party for the support and confidence reposed in him following his emergence as the party’s flag bearer.
In an appreciation message made available to party faithful and supporters, Jakande described his emergence as a collective victory for the people of the constituency and the APC family.
He first thanked God Almighty for what he described as divine grace, mercy, and guidance throughout the political process, noting that the achievement would not have been possible without God’s support.
The APC candidate also commended the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, for his leadership style, commitment to party unity, and efforts toward sustaining peace and progress within the party.
Jakande further appreciated the Ondo State APC Chairman, Kolawole Babatunde Amaechi, alongside the state leadership of the party, for providing what he described as a transparent and fair platform that strengthened internal democracy and inspired confidence among members.
He equally acknowledged the support of APC leaders in Akoko North West, especially those in Constituency II, praising their sacrifices, guidance, encouragement, and commitment throughout the process.
The lawmaker hopeful also extended appreciation to party faithful across the constituency for their loyalty and steadfastness to the collective vision of the APC.
According to him, communities including Afin, Ese, Ogbagi, and Irun played significant roles through their prayers, encouragement, and unwavering support during the journey.
Jakande also recognized the contributions of fathers, mothers, youth groups, family members, friends, and the Alayo Family, stating that their sacrifices and support contributed immensely to the success recorded so far.
He assured constituents that the trust placed in him would not be taken for granted, pledging to pursue every promise made with dedication, accountability, sincerity, and purposeful leadership.
“As we move forward, I humbly seek your robust support, prayers, and continuous cooperation for the journey ahead. Together, we shall build a stronger, more united, and prosperous constituency that truly reflects the hopes and aspirations of our people,” he stated.
He concluded by praying for the continued progress of the APC, Akoko North West Constituency II, Ondo State, and Nigeria as a whole.
