The leadership of All Progressives Congress in Ondo State has appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo as a minister designate.
Tunji-Ojo, a member of House of Representatives, representing Akoko Noth East/Akoko Noth West, is among the ministerial nominees to be screened by the Senate.
In a statement signed and made available to the public by the state Chairman of APC, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, the president was appreciated for choosing Tunji-Ojo among the minister designates.
Adetimehin described Tunji-Ojo as a brilliant and competent personality worthy of representing the state and the federation, also extended Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu’s appreciation to the President over the nomination.
The statement reads in parts: “On behalf of our leader, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN,CON, the leadership, membership, the State Working Committee and the State Executive Committee, I wish to express our profound appreciation for theappointment of our illustrious son, Hon Olubunmi Tunji Ojo, as a Minister-designate, of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“Mr. President Sir, we feel humbled and proud that one of our best competent hands was considered and nominated for this enviable position, at a time whenour dear Nation is in dire need of capable, energetic, young and vibrant men andwomen to pilot her affairs.With Renewed Hope, we are quite confident thatour great nation will continue to ascend to even greater heights.
“Hon.Olubunmi Tunji Ojo is a round peg in a round hole, as we as a Party in the State can vouch for his competence, God-given abilities, capabilities andexperience without any reservation.
“The Party knows BTO as a bridge-builderbetween the young and old, with his immeasurable achievements as aRepresentative,who represented us exceedingly well at the Lower Chamberprior to his nomination as a Minister designate.
