The Grassroot Engagement For Good Governance (GRENFGG) group has described the late Governor of Ondo state, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu as an advocate of the people.
The group, in a condolence message signed by its convener, Iwakun Adeolu, commiserated with the Akeredolu family and the people of Ondo state on the irreparable loss.

Grassroot Engagement for Good Governance – (GRENFGG) Mourns Governor Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu
It is with a heavy heart that the Grassroots Engagement for Good Governance extends its deepest condolences to the people of Ondo State and the immediate family of Governor Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu on passing yesterday.
Governor Akeredolu’s demise has left a void that will be felt across the state and beyond.
As an ardent advocate for the people, Governor Akeredolu demonstrated unwavering commitment to the welfare and progress of Ondo State’s people. His visionary leadership and dedication to bridging the gap between the government and the governed was evident in his policies and initiatives aimed at transforming lives of the downtrodden.
GRENFGG mourns the loss of a leader whose legacy will remain evergreen in the hearts of the people he diligently served.
We stand in solidarity with the people of Ondo State, Governor Akeredolu’s family, friends, and the entire state at this trying time and we pray that God Almighty grants His Excellency’s soul perfect rest.
