The Believers Family Foundation Network (BFFN) has unveiled its Financial Freedom Model and launched a new book, Vision of a New Nigeria, as part of efforts to promote economic empowerment, human capital development and national transformation.
The initiatives were unveiled in Akure, the Ondo State capital, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence anniversary.
The organisation also held its annual Freedom Walk and Prayer Rally for Nigeria, which attracted about 500 members and participants in Akure, with similar rallies held concurrently in other parts of the country.
As part of its Independence Day activities, the President and Convener of BFFN, Mrs. Florence Bulous Ojogo, also distributed free food packages to more than 500 residents across Ondo State.
The activities culminated at The Dome Event Centre, Akure, where stakeholders from different parts of Nigeria gathered for the formal presentation of Ojogo’s book, Vision of a New Nigeria, the launch of the BFFN Financial Freedom Model and an awards ceremony recognising individuals who have contributed to societal development.
The book examines some of the systemic challenges hindering Nigeria’s development and proposes practical and sustainable solutions aimed at building an inclusive economy capable of improving the welfare and opportunities available to citizens.
Speaking at the event, Ojogo said the overarching objective of BFFN was to create a community of empowered Nigerians capable of contributing meaningfully to the country’s development.
“Our goal through BFFN is to build a vibrant community of 100 million mentally and financially free individuals who will actively contribute to the holistic transformation of Nigeria.
“This book serves as a practical blueprint and guide toward achieving meaningful, long-term development across our nation,” she said.
In her review of the book, Professor Bolanle Ogungbamigbe described the publication as an important eye-opener for policymakers and citizens, while calling for a stronger reading culture among Nigerians.
The Chief Book Launcher, Hon. Sunday Ifedayo Abegunde, also commended the publication, describing it as a relevant contribution to the national development discourse.
Abegunde recommended the book to individuals and stakeholders interested in the future and progress of Nigeria.
Also speaking at the event, Hon. Donald Ojogo commended the author for the vision behind the initiative, noting that bringing such a project to fruition required resilience and determination.
According to him, the initiative demonstrated a strong commitment to positive change and human capital development in Nigeria.
The event ended with an awards ceremony during which distinguished traditional rulers, industry professionals and community leaders were honoured for their contributions to societal progress.
Ojogo reaffirmed BFFN’s commitment to advancing national transformation through economic education, capacity building and community empowerment.
She said the organisation would continue working towards equipping millions of Nigerians with the knowledge, mindset and practical tools required to achieve financial independence and contribute to a more prosperous Nigeria.
