The Akoko North East Youth Forum has announced the appointment of 16 new aides to the President of the forum, in a move aimed at strengthening grassroots engagement, improving coordination and bringing the leadership closer to members of the community.
The appointments, according to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the President, Comrade Olufemi Akinwale, followed what was described as careful consideration and confirmation by the President.
The newly appointed aides are expected to facilitate structured engagement between the forum’s leadership and the people, while contributing to the achievement of the organisation’s objectives and promoting development across the local government.
Those appointed include Olajide Oluwashina Samuel as Special Assistant on New Media; Ogunmola Ayodeji as Special Adviser on Indigenous Forum Affairs; Sunday Oluwatosin as Special Adviser on Community Integration; and Mamudu Monday Adeoye as Special Adviser on Inter-Local Government Affairs.
Others are Mogaji Samuel Oluwatosin, Special Adviser on Student Affairs; Mohammed Arafat, Special Adviser on Gender Affairs; Aregbesola Daniel Olarewaju (Danity), Personal Assistant to the President; and Dayo Bankole Akerele, Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
Tijani Afeez Oluwaseun was appointed Director of Protocol, while Ologun Sunday Temitope emerged as Special Assistant on Photography.
Also appointed are Oloniju Ayodeji Colonial, Special Adviser on Humanitarian Affairs; Muhammad Nimotallahi Bolaji, Special Adviser on Welfare Matters and Social Development; and Olugbemija Tolulope Isaac, Special Assistant on Special Duties.
The list further includes Sayyidat Olayemi Jimoh as Special Adviser on Religious Matters and Kutelu Seibu Olayiwola as Special Assistant on Community Engagement.
The President, through the Chief Press Secretary, congratulated the appointees and charged them to bring their expertise, commitment and dedication to bear on the development of the forum.
The new appointments are expected to deepen the forum’s engagement with youths, communities, students, religious groups and other stakeholders, while creating a more coordinated structure for communication and grassroots mobilisation.
The statement concluded by wishing the newly appointed aides success in their respective assignments and urging them to contribute meaningfully to the growth and development of the Akoko North East Youth Forum.
