It was with fun and that the Women wing of the Asiwaju Mandate Group and the Elan club, Akure received a brand new 18 seater bus each from the Minister of Interior, Hon. Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
The branded Buses, donated by thef Minister was unveiled by the DG of the Asiwaju Mandate Group, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla in company of other leaders of the group across all senatorial districts of the State.
While Baba Kelly Agboola, an elder of the AMG presented the vehicle to the Women wing of the AMG, the DG of AMG, Asiwaju Olumuyiwa Asagunla did the honour of presentation to the Elan club.
The women led by their coordinator, Mrs Yetunde Adeyanju were full of joy and appreciation to the Honourable Minister and pledged their unalloyed support to the Minister and to the re election of President Bola Hammed Tinubu for a second term in office as well as other candidates of the party APC in Ondo State.
For the Elan Club, it was a dream come true in twenty nine years of the existence of the club.
The President of the Club Ellano Hon. Mobolaji Johnson eulogised t,,,@he Honourable Minister for his thoughtfulness and for keeping his promise to the club.
He assured on behalf of the club that the club will give all necessary support to the Honourable Minister in ensuring that his dream come through.
In his words, the DG of the Asiwaju Mandate Group representing the said, of the over a hundred request for Buses on the Minister’s table, the two groups were priotised because of their mobilisation drive and their social relevance in the state and beyond. He eulogised Barrister Tunde Ogundare for the good roles he played in facilitating the donation of the vehicles.
Present at the Events were the Secretary of the AMG, Barrister Dele Ogunbameru, the AMG director of Strategyc, and public communication, Dr. Ayodeji Ologun, the state APC special leader, Hon. Tunde Gbalajobi the Deputy Director General, South Senatorial District. Hon. Afolabi Iwalewa, AMG Director of Finance, Akeem Jimoh, the CSO, Hon. Platinum Jackson, special adviser on politics to thw Minister, Hon. Kunle Omogunwa, the the Director of legal services of the AMG, Barrister Samuel Ade Pelemo among several others.
